ECJTU has carried out the scientific research revitalization plan in depth. It has achieved a series of top-level landmark achievements, such as the establishment of national scientific research platforms and the key projects of National Natural Science Foundation of China, etc. It has achieved a substantial increase in the projects of National Natural Science Foundation of China, the number and funding of national projects, the number of invention patents, and the number SCI Zone 1 and 2 papers and the number and funding of horizontal projects, etc. At present, ECJTU has built 35 platforms for scientific and technological innovation and think tank at provincial and ministerial levels, including National and Local Joint Engineering Research Center for Rail Transit Infrastructure Operation and Maintenance Security Technology, the National and Local Joint Engineering Research Center for Fruit Intelligent Photoelectric Detection Technology and Equipment, postdoctoral research workstations, academician workstations, etc., and the Research Center for High-speed Railway and Regional Development has been selected into the Top 100 CTTI Source Think Tanks.
