Insisting on opening up and improving its educational system, ECJTU has cooperated with China Railway, National Railway Administration and People’s Government of Jiangxi Province, and established strategic partnership with more than 70 government departments, large-scale enterprises, universities and research institutes at home and abroad, including the Provincial Industry and Information Commission, Ganzhou Municipal Government, China Railway Engineering Corporation, China Railway Construction Corporation and Beijing Jiaotong University. ECJTU has held international academic seminars such as “Ganjiang Academic Forum”, “China’s New Industry and Urbanization Development Forum” and “Modern Railway Innovation and Sustainable Development”, which promoted ECJTU to become a member of “Sino-Russian Jiaotong University Alliance” and “China-ASEAN Rail Transit Education and Training Association”. The Education Development Foundation of East China Jiaotong University was established, with donations from alumni of 200 million yuan.
